Hire Terms and Conditions
Requirement for Bookings
Please check the availability of date, time and equipment required by contacting Cessa Events by email, our website or direct message via our social media platforms. A completed booking form as well as a minimum deposit of 20% is required to confirm your booking. An invoice will be sent for this via the email provided on the completed booking form.
Payment methods accepted are BACS or Paypal. Details are on the invoice sent to the client via the email they have provided.
When Cessa Events has received a completed Booking Form and Booking Fee the event is booked and thereafter we will keep in touch with the client via email or direct message.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 1 week before the event.
Should your booking be made within 14 days of the hire date, payment in full will be required to secure the date.
Any changes to bookings must be received by email or direct message via our socials and agreed by Cessa Events at least 14 days prior to the hire date.
Failure to pay the balance by the agreed deadline may result in the forfeiture of the deposit. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
All prices are subject to change at any time, excluding confirmed bookings.
Delivery, Set Up & Collection
We aim to arrive on time but cannot be held liable for delays from traffic, weather, or other reasons outside our control.
Approximately 1.5 hours is required for setup and 1 hour for removal. Please account for setup/takedown time when booking your venue.
Your venue must provide adequate as well as accessible parking for a large delivery van.
Parties must start and end on schedule due to potential other bookings. Additional party time until 7pm may be accommodated at our discretion for an additional cost of no less than £100 per hour for the entire package.
Any attendant required outside of the packages will require an amount of £75 per event and £100 after midnight.
We reserve the right to charge an additional £50 cleaning fee if any item is returned wet, soiled or stained.
Delivery Fees
We provide complimentary delivery within 10 miles of our Weldon shop, covering the 20-mile roundtrip travel. For party venues located farther than 10 miles away, additional travel fees apply based on total mileage to and from the destination.
Once we confirm the postal code of your party location, we can give a precise quote for delivery charges beyond our free 10-mile range.
We keep additional mileage rates affordable for events farther out.
Please enquire if you need quotes or estimates for your postal code. Knowing the location early on allows us to strategize logistics and provide you with an exact fee inclusive of base rental rates plus mileage-based travel expenses. We're happy to check and discuss delivery costs for venues farther out.
Site Requirements
It is the customer's responsibility to arrange a suitable venue for our equipment to occupy and to verify the venue has adequate floor space and height for equipment.
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the chosen venue has a suitable, clean safe space for the equipment to be set up. We reserve the right to refuse set up if the designated area is deemed unsuitable.
If the venue does not fulfill the expected size requirements then we may only set up a reduced set of equipment at no reduction to the agreed quote.
We cannot move non-company furniture or items.
If the party space at the venue is upstairs, we need to discuss access before booking.
Weather Considerations and Outdoor Bookings
We can only accept outdoor bookings between April and September. The equipment can get very hot in sunny weather so we would recommend setting up in a Shaded area, under shelter or indoors. If rain is forecast on the day of hire then an alternative indoor area must be in place to set up the equipment. For all outdoor bookings a groundsheet will be provided free of charge for protection.
Surfaces for inflatables must be flat, grassy area free of mud/stones/ animal waste. Soft play can go on flat surfaces like wood, turf, patio
Confirm ample clearance space around the inflatable equipment: 3ft on sides, 5ft in front and 5ft at the back
Ensure the venue has a height restriction of 4m or above for our Bubble Houses and Bouncy Castles
Please validate these criteria to allow successful setup of our equipment. Notify us of any potential issues or constraints at the site as soon as possible.
Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel bookings if we deem the site to be either inadequate or unsafe, or if payments are unpaid. This results in a forfeited, non-transferable deposit. Adverse weather may allow the deposit to be transferred to another date pending availability. We may cancel bookings if:
We are unable to guarantee the weather conditions and some items are manufactured for indoor use only. We will not refund any money if the weather forecast is unfavourable, or turns bad on or during the day of hire and no alternative cover has been pre-arranged.
Inadequate site access
The surface is not a flat, grassy area
Animal mess in the setup area
Power not within 20m range
Unpaid deposits or balances owed
the 20% deposit is non-refundable, and non-transferable if the booking is cancelled
Adverse weather forfeits deposit but allows date transfer subject to availability.
We will terminate if the site is unsafe/unprepared for equipment
If Cessa Events cancels a booking (excluding reasons beyond our control) any money paid will be refunded.
Safety Responsibilities
Cessa Events Ltd cannot be held responsible for injury to persons or damage to 3rd party property.
Strictly no users over age 5 on soft play equipment. The bouncy castles and bubble houses are suitable for all ages
Responsible adults (18+) must supervise their children at all times
Ensure no overcrowding of children based on ages/sizes
No pets, toys, or sharp objects allowed on the equipment
Do not move or reposition and soft play equipment once they've been set up
Keep away from the rear air blower
Do not adjust electrical items, call us instead
Get off the equipment if the blower stops and call us
No use of inflatables during inflation/deflation
It is the renter's responsibility to avoid damage/injuries when in use
No smoking/BBQs near soft play equipment and inflatables
Use safety mats properly
No jumping from equipment
Don't use it if feeling unwell
Don't use it if wet
The soft play items must remain on the floor mats for the duration of the hire. ALL BALLS must be inside the ball pond on collection. Any damages or missing items must be reported to CessaEvents as soon as possible and may result in the client being invoiced to cover costs. All equipment is inspected on collection and any concerns will be discussed with the hirer at the time.
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure all aspects of the Play Rules are adhered to throughout the duration of the hire. Soft play Equipment is ONLY suitable for children under tree age of 5 years old. A copy of safety instructions can be provided upon request but will be displayed with the soft play equipment.
DISCLAIMER - Please note that all persons using our equipment do so at their own risk. The person hiring the equipment will be liable for any damage or injury occurring from, or as a result of, misuse or reckless use. Cessa Events cannot accept any responsibility for any accidents, injury, or damage caused during the hire period.

Photography and Videography Policy
We understand the importance of capturing special moments at our events. However, the privacy and safety of all participants, especially minors, is our top priority. By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you consent to the following photography and videography guidelines:
Consent for Minors
- Parents/guardians must provide explicit consent before any photos or videos of their child(ren) can be taken, used, or shared.
- Parents may request their child's image not be captured at all.
Usage Limitations
- Media containing minors will not be shared publicly on social media or other online platforms without obtaining parental consent.
Loss, Breakage & Damage Policy
The renter is responsible for all rented items from delivery through pickup. Reasonable wear and tear is expected, but the renter will be charged for missing, damaged, or broken items as follows:
Bouncy Castles & Inflatables
Missing/damaged blower or stakes incurs £100-£150 fee
Rips, holes, stains requiring patch or repair are £50-£100
Major damage requiring replacement is full retail cost
Bubble Houses
Rips, holes, or tears are £200 to repair
Missing blower results in £250-£300 fee
Replacement needed for extensive damage is full retail cost
Flowers and Decorations
Missing pieces will be billed at retail replacement cost
Broken vases/lanterns £10-£20 each
Burnt/damaged décor £5-£15 per item
Flatware and Serving Items
Missing pieces £3-£10 each
Damaged glassware, platters £5 per item
Linen stains/tears unable to be removed incur full replacement cost
The renter agrees to exercise reasonable care. Applicable fees for noted damage/loss will be charged after return. Please contact us with any questions!
